Company Visit
Thanks to the cooperation of the Hyogo Prefecture Entrepreneur Group, the we were able to visit six companies in Hyogo Prefecture so far.
During the visit to the company, we talked not only about the company, but also about issues in the industry as a whole, internal systems, human resources to be sought, cooperation between industry, academia and government, and various other topics.
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have many challenges varied by its industry, company size, etc.
The challenges are different, and so are the measures.
Through company visits, we felt
the importance of being close to each company and issue at hand.
We have a meeting at least once a month with our professor.
We review the progress, discuss the future flow and the division of work.
We also have many opportunities to have meetings not only with internal members of the seminar, but also with small and medium-sized entrepreneurs' associations and other business people. We also prepare our own plans and other documents that we bring with us, and we proceed with our discussions based on them. It's a rare opportunity for us to see firsthand how our activities are actually consumed by society.
In addition, when we wrote articles or conducted street surveys, we presented the results in the form of debriefings and received feedback.
Meetings
We collect data through street surveys and other means to analyze the issues that companies are facing in order to solve them. While reading a paper related to our research, you will create a questionnaire, paying attention to details such as what questions should be asked, the choice of words, and what choices should be made. Then, with the cooperation of local residents, we conduct surveys, which are then converted into data for analysis.
There's a lot to learn when you do research. You'll hear some interesting stories from people who have completed the survey.
If you see us on the streets in the future, please help us when you're free.
