Activities
We will explain our activities in the context of our founding history.
The rich natural environment that has been spreading since ancient times.
鳥 虫 獣 草 木 花 人
A presence that should never be lacking in any of them.
We will seriously think about how we can relate to nature in the future.

~Regional contribution~
A project for regional development was started as part of the seminar activities.
What caught our attention was the "nature" that was rooted in the area.
Nature is often perceived as being at odds
with the economic life of people.
However, nature has supported human life since ancient times.
Sometimes as a resource, sometimes as an object of appreciation.
Today, however, the more nature-rich areas are, the more they face
the challenges of declining population and ecological destruction.
So begins our challenge.
In Sanda
A city rich in nature.
Sanda-shi
Sanda City is a town where urban and rural areas coexist.
Since ancient times, it has prospered as a transportation hub connecting
the Sea of Japan and the Seto Inland Sea.
This place is home to a magnificent nature.
The scale of the satoyama and wetlands is one of the best in the prefecture.
These have been maintained by human care.
However, the precious nature of Sanda is in danger of extinction.
Who is going to solve it?
People who protect nature.
The people of Sanda-shi are working towards a solution.
Local volunteer groups and city workers are taking a stand on the issue.
These days, the private sector and the government are working
together to "preserve the environment" in a new way.
The "Satoyama Town Planning Section" of the city hall and
the volunteer group "Saraike's Moribito" are the main entities that
carry out such activities.
These people, who are working on environmental
conservation in Sanda, have also had their own struggles.
"Our activities do not spread to the youth..."
We have decided to support their activities
with the power of ideas and actions that only students can take.
Although we're an amateur without any professional nature knowledge, we will continue to work hard to pass on
this precious nature to the next generation.
What is meaning in participate.
A new place.
"We want to be involved in conservation in more places."
It was with this in mind that we expanded the scope of my activities.
We are participating in river environmental conservation activities.
The Muko River, which flows near Kwansei Gakuin University
This is our new place of operation.
We want to protect nature in both satoyama and rivers.
There are people who are active in this area.
We hope to be a bridge between people
who are in different places but have the same mind.
